June 26-July 6 Acho Burger Land hamburger festival in Águilas
An open-air burger and music festival with a Murcian twist arrives at the Juan Montiel Marina

Águilas is set to host the first edition of the ‘Acho Burger Land’ festival from Thursday June 26 to Sunday July 6, bringing together gourmet burgers, live music and DJ sets at the Juan Montiel Marina. The event will take place each evening from 7pm, offering free entry to visitors.
Food trucks from across Spain will compete for the title of best burger, with a requirement that each entry features at least one ingredient of Murcian origin. Alongside the culinary offering, the festival will include a dedicated concert area to host a varied musical programme.
During the launch presentation, Cristóbal Casado, Águilas’ Councillor for Festivities, said: “It is an event which, we believe, is here to stay and will be consolidated as another attraction for the municipality.”
Festival organiser Juanjo Gris added that the initiative aims to promote Murcian produce while boosting local hospitality: “It means an increase in hotel and restaurant bookings as the timetable is fully compatible with the rest of the local offerings.”
Olga Montiel, representing the Juan Montiel Marina, welcomed the event, highlighting the venue’s potential for unique cultural and leisure experiences.
You are invited to come down to the marina during the 10 days of the burger festival to enjoy some free music and vibes, and try some of the best burgers you’ll ever eat.
