The Catalan government is considering applying a night curfew that lasts from 10 p.m. to 6 a.m. and is preparing a battery of complementary measures to stop the coronavirus that it wants to implement as soon as possible.
The Minister of Health, Alba Vergés, and the Minister of the Interior, Miquel Sàmper, have explained this Saturday, in statements to Catalunya Ràdio, that they expect the Government to approve the state of alarm as soon as possible so that the curfew can go into effect immediately.
Once the Spanish Executive approves the state of alarm, which could happen between today and tomorrow, the Government will bring together the Procicat, which will be in charge of agreeing on the night curfew, as well as other measures. Although it is still pending finalization, the councilors have advanced that the curfew could start at 10 p.m. or 11 p.m., while it is clear that it will end at 6 a.m.
