Cartagena Beach Bus to Cala Cortina and El Portus summer service
The El Portús and Cala Cortina beach bus runs from mid-June to late August 2024
The Alsa Beach Bus from Cartagena city centre to the beaches of Cala Cortina and El Portús will run all summer long, starting from Friday June 14.
Bus line 12 will connect the city with the popular beach areas with buses going in both directions until the end of August.
The bus route to Cala Cortina will start at Paseo Alfonso XIII and stops at Capitanes Ripoll, Plaza Puertas de San José and Cala Cortina. The return journey follows the same route back in the opposite direction.
The bus route to El Portús starts at Paseo Alfonso XIII and stops at Alameda de San Antón, Escudo, Sebastián Feringán, Cruce Cuatro Caminos, Canteras and El Portús. The return journey follows the same route back in the opposite direction.
The bus timetable is as follows:
- Cartagena - Cala Cortina: 10:30; 12:00; 13:30; 16:00; 17:30; 19:00; 20:30
- Cala Cortina - Cartagena: 10:45; 12:15; 12:15; 13:45; 16:15; 17:45; 19:15; 20:45
- Cartagena - El Portús: 9:30; 11:00; 12:30; 16:30; 18:00; 19:30
- El Portús - Cartagena: 10:00; 11:30; 13:00; 17:00; 18:30; 20:00
