ARCHIVED - Covid figures Spain Sunday 21st: 141 new cases in last 24 hours
One person has died bringing the fatalities total up to 28.323
The national Ministry of Health has reported this Sunday that in the last 24 hours there have been 141 new diagnoses of coronavirus and one more death, bringing the total number of deceased to 28,323 in Spain.
Fatalities
29 people have died during the last seven days.
The Balearic Islands, the Canary Islands, Cantabria, Ceuta, Extremadura, Galicia, Melilla, Murcia, Navarra and La Rioja have not reported any deaths during the last seven days.
The largest number of deaths has been in the Madrid Region this week, with 12.
By Autonomous Region, Madrid has the highest number of deaths from coronavirus in all of Spain, with 8,416; followed by Catalonia, with 5,666; Castilla-La Mancha 3,022; Castilla y León, with 2,777; Basque Country, with 1,555; Valencian Community, with 1,431; Andalusia, with 1,426; Aragon 911; 619 in Galicia; 528 in Navarra; 519 in Extremadura; 365 in La Rioja; 333 in Asturias; 224 in the Balearic Islands; 216 in Cantabria; 162 in the Canary Islands; 147 in Murcia; 4 in Ceuta; and 2 in Melilla.

14 of Spain’s autonomous comunities have registered new cases in the last 24 hours, the total new cases being 141, continuing the increases registered during the week.
Asturias, the Balearic Islands, Ceuta, Melilla and La Rioja have not registered any new cases of COVID-19 during the last 24 hours.
The Region of Madrid has the highest number of deaths but lies in second place to Aragón in the numbr of new cases with 71,223( 32) ; followed by Catalonia with 60,645 (23); Castilla y León, with 19,499(6); Castilla-La Mancha, with 17,965 (6) ; Basque Country, with 13,708 (1); Andalusia, with 12,884 (+8); the Valencian Community, with 11,479 (+1); Galicia 9,174 (+6); Aragon 5,931 (33); Navarra 5,381 (+3); Extremadura 3,006 (+5); Canary Islands 2,414 (+12); Cantabria 2,344 (+1); Murcia 1,645 (+4). Meanwhile, in Ceuta there have been a total of 163 cases and in Melilla 124.
The UK recorded 43 deaths on Sunday 21st June, bringing the total confirmed fatalities from Covid-19 to 42,632.
In the 24-hour period up to 9am on Sunday, 175,018 tests were carried out, with 1,221 positive results, according to the Department of Health.
7,890,145 tests have been carried out in the UK and 304,331 cases confirmed positive.
