ARCHIVED - Andalusia closes borders until 9th November
Regional President of the region of Andalucía, Juan Manuel Moreno, has announced the closure of external borders from 00:00 on Thursday night until the 9th of November.
He said in his statement on Wednesday evening that the situation in Andalucía is no worse than in other regions of Spain, but his government feels that it is important to act promptly as the situation is deteriorating.
For this reason, the regional Government has taken measures to limit mobility, and orders the closure of Andalusia from midnight on Thursday until November 9th. Granada, Seville and Jaén are also confined and cannot be entered without just cause. "Nobody can enter or leave Andalusia if it is not by force majeure," says Moreno.
Meetings are limited to six people in both private and public throughout the region and the curfew established by the state of alarm will continue from 23:00 to 06:00.
