Andalucia weekly weather forecast: March 3 - 6
Unsettled conditions with rain, storms and Saharan dust moving in

Monday March 3

Andalucia weather forecast, Monday March 3
Skies will be very cloudy across Andalucia, with rain expected throughout the region. The western Mediterranean coast, including areas like Malaga and Almeria, could see locally heavy and persistent rainfall. In the western third, including Huelva and Seville, thunderstorms are likely, with the possibility of hail. Snowfall is expected above 2,000 metres, affecting higher elevations such as the Sierra Nevada. Temperatures will rise slightly or remain unchanged, with a more noticeable increase in the east. Winds will be moderate to strong from the east on the Mediterranean coast and lighter elsewhere.
Tuesday March 4

Andalucia weather forecast, Tuesday March 4
Cloudy skies will persist, with scattered light rainfall across the region. The heaviest and most persistent rain is expected in the east, affecting areas such as Almeria, Granada and Motril. Dust from the Sahara will enter through the Alboran Sea, which may result in muddy rain on the Mediterranean coast. Minimum temperatures will drop in the north, while elsewhere, temperatures will remain largely unchanged. Maximum temperatures will generally rise, though some areas may see little difference. Winds will be light from the east, with moderate gusts in the eastern third and around the Strait.
Wednesday March 5

Andalucia weather forecast, Wednesday March 5
The unsettled conditions continue, with a mix of clouds and scattered showers. The far east, including areas such as Almeria and Jaen, may see more persistent rainfall. Saharan dust will still be present, possibly leading to more mud deposits. Minimum temperatures will either rise slightly or remain unchanged, while maximums will fall in the east but stay stable or rise elsewhere. Winds will be moderate to strong from the east along the Mediterranean coast, the eastern third and the Strait, while remaining light to moderate in other areas.
Thursday March 6

Andalucia weather forecast, Thursday March 6
Very cloudy skies will bring light to moderate rainfall to much of the region. However, locally heavy and persistent rain may develop along the western Mediterranean coast and in the Strait of Gibraltar, affecting places like Cadiz and Malaga. Temperatures will stay largely unchanged for minimums, but maximums will fall in the west while rising slightly or remaining steady elsewhere. Winds will be light and variable in most areas, though moderate easterly winds will persist on the Mediterranean coast before easing later in the day.
With changing conditions, strong winds, and Saharan dust in the mix, it’s worth keeping an eye on local forecasts this week.
